Previous Records

All prior prescriptions, eye-drop bottles you currently use, visual field reports, OCT scans, and operative notes if you have had surgery before.

Time for Examination

A thorough glaucoma evaluation may include pressure measurement, gonioscopy, and dilated examination — please allow adequate time for your visit.

Your Questions

Write your questions down beforehand. An informed patient makes better decisions, and no question about your eyes is too small.

How long should I allow for a first glaucoma consultation?

A complete assessment includes pressure measurement, gonioscopy and, where indicated, dilated examination. Please allow ninety minutes to two hours.

Will I be able to drive home afterwards?

If your pupils are dilated, vision stays blurred and light-sensitive for several hours. Please arrange for someone to accompany you.

I have had surgery elsewhere with complications. Can I be seen?

Yes. Complex cases and complications of previous surgery are a particular focus of this practice. Please bring all prior records and operative notes.

What are the consultation fees?

Please contact the chamber directly for current consultation and investigation charges. Surgical costs depend on the procedure and any lens or device required, and are explained in full after examination.

Do you accept referrals from other ophthalmologists?

Yes. Referrals for refractory glaucoma, angle surgery, and complex anterior segment cases are welcome. Please include prior imaging and operative details where available.
